We didn’t plan to come back to Canet-en-Roussillon. A few weeks ago the plan was to return west through the Balearic Islands.
Then a chance encounter with some fellow Aussies changed everything — and we found ourselves heading back to Canet, the marina where we first laid eyes on Helios in May 2023.
It’s only a day sail from Cap d’Agde, but this stop is different. Canet is where the whole adventure began. After more than 7,000 nautical miles around the Mediterranean, we’re returning one last time before we point Helios toward the Atlantic.
