Stuck in Sardinia: A Mistral Misadventure - Sailing Helios S03E22
Sometimes sailing teaches patience — and in this episode, we return to Sardinia to wait out the strong Mistral winds. Italy seems determined to keep us anchored a little longer. When we lift anchor, we discover we’ve snagged a cable on the seabed and are stuck fast. With some careful teamwork and a trusty hook, we free ourselves and return to one of our favourite bays to relax, recharge, and wait for calmer conditions.
Sailing isn’t always about moving forward — sometimes it’s about going with the flow, enjoying where you are, and trusting the sea to set the pace. 🌊
