Welcome back! This week, we say farewell to Syracuse after an unforgettable time exploring the charming old town of Ortigia. Our journey takes us across the Strait of Sicily, where unsettled weather and unpredictable thunderstorms test our sailing skills with shifting winds from every direction.
After a challenging passage, we finally arrive in Malta—greeted by friends who not only guide us to a free mooring but also lend a hand with our lines. It’s a stark contrast to a year ago when we knew no one in the Med and struggled to pick up a mooring in Sliema Creek on our own. Now, safely tucked away, we’re ready to rediscover Valletta—once the rain gives us a break!
And for a special treat, we get the chance to sail on a Neel 47 Trimaran! Join us as we experience this incredible multihull and see how it compares to our own boat.
