Love and Care - Sailing Helios S03E12
With a two-week wind forecast pointing east, we take the opportunity to set sail in that direction — a move that not only suits the weather but also brings us closer to the beautiful Maddalena Archipelago.
After the long passage from Sicily, it’s time to give Helios a bit of the love and care she deserves. We spend some time cleaning, polishing stainless steel, and taking care of the little things that keep her running smoothly. Not everything goes to plan though — Richard is called into action for some emergency windlass maintenance. Luckily, there are far worse places in the world to turn a wrench.
This episode captures the rhythm of sailing life: balancing the magic of the journey with the work it takes to keep it all afloat.
