From Ortigia to Taormina: Water-maker Parts, Big Swell & Stunning Sights - Sailing Helios S03E05
We are in Syracuse but there’s a mission behind this visit—we’re on the hunt for the final parts we need for our new water-maker but we do get time to once again be charmed by Ortigia’s narrow streets and vibrant atmosphere. With a large swell forecast to hit the harbour, we move quickly and take shelter in a calm bay near Brucoli. Once conditions ease, we set sail again, this time heading up the coast to the spectacular town of Taormina, a place we’ve long wanted to explore. Join us as we mix the practical with the picturesque on this leg of our journey.
