Tastes Like Chicken – Sailing Gargoyle Eats a Guinea Pig Ep. 30

We only have a few short days to spend on Santa Cruz as we have a tour booked out of San Cristóbal so we cram as much as we can into those days. Carla’s birthday celebration continues as she gets her birthday present, trip to the spa at the Finch Bay Resort and Spa. After a relaxing afternoon we then check out the town of Puerto Ayora, exploring the Charles Darwin Research Center by day followed by the nightlife along the main drag. We then hop aboard for a tour of the Tunel de Amor before we dine like Anthony Bourdain. Typically a dish found in the highlands of Ecuador and Perú, we’ve found a chef that serves Cuy on the island. Cuy, otherwise know as guinea pig! Finally, don’t forget to check out our usual bloopers at the end of the episode.
