This week we make the run down from Cadiz to the gateway of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar. Departing Cadiz in the dark makes for a nerve-wracking few hours but we are able to navigate past the incoming cruise ships, freighters, and occasional fishing boat to make a daylight arrival possible. After sailing down the straight between Europe and Africa, we make our way to our marina and enjoy a most spectacular view. Then it is time to get out and explore the most ramous rock in the world. Monkeys, siege tunnels, trams and beers await us on this adventure of a lifetime. Come along as we hike the Rock of Gibraltar.
