It is time to say goodbye to the incredible Isle of Jura. Today we sail across the Sound of Jura and venture up the Loch of Sween to the magical village of Tayvallich. On the way we pass the oldest stone castle in Scotland, the Castle of Sween before squeezing into the tiny anchorage at Tayvallich. Taking one of the three available mooring balls supplied by the village, it is time to explore. Kevin rows us ashore and we walk the village until we find the local inn where it is time for a cold beer and cider to help wash down world-class mussels. Then we head for home and bid goodnight to a perfect day.
