As hurricane season draws near, we get Gargoyle ready to make the 1,000 nm sail south by fixing a nagging issue. Our primary GPS antennae has been giving us errors on an escalating basis, so we take the time to pull the antennae and walk thru the steps to replace the battery that appears to be causing the issue. After that, it is time to check out of the Turks and Caicos, first with the now requisite COVID test followed by a drive-up process with the port captain and immigration. Then Gargoyle sets sail across the magnificent Caicos bank for the last time.
