After 6 weeks in the Galapagos Islands, it is almost time for Gargoyle to move on to her next adventure. But first we must get ready for the upcoming 840nm voyage. We have a list of pre-passage items that includes fixing, if even temporarily, our separated furler foil. Watch as Carla makes the climb up the front stay to assess the damage and make repairs while Kevin runs laps on deck to replace the tools Carla “sacrifices” to King Neptune. In addition, we need to provision the boat, say farewell to new friends and check-out of this amazing country. We also carve out time ashore to check out the best burgers in the Galapagos and then a final sushi meal before departing on our planned 7-day passage.
