Four years and four months since departing Vancouver, Gargoyle is sailing into the Mediterranean Sea. This week we pull up the anchor in a rainy Gibraltar and sail into the Mediterranean, checking off yet another note on every sailor’s bucket list. Our first port of call is Puerto Banus, legendary home of supercars, yachts, luxury shopping and all the gorgeous people this attracts. In addition, this is our first-time med mooring in a marina and the stress to the captain is monumental.
