Managing a week in the doldrums, a finite fuel supply and a long passage makes the second half of our crossing such a brilliantly fun challenge. This portion highlights both the brilliant sailing conditions as well as the mind numbing frustration of being becalmed, all in a single passage. Finally, after thirty days at sea, the crew of Gargoyle makes landfall in Nuku Hiva.
