We recently made a video about stern tying because cruising as we have done for the last two seasons in places like Croatia, Greece and especially Turkey, it is a very necessary skill to have.
It can be a tricky thing to do ( I hope the video helps a bit with that) but you also need the right equipment. We had fitted a 60 meter long ultraline two years ago in anticipation of cruising this area, and we were very thankful we did. In fact this year we removed our old webbing reel which came with the boat and fitted a second, longer Ultraline because it was so much better.
This video take you through the fitting construction and use of these reels.
