My Boat Isn’t Ready… So We Took This One Instead
We’re still a few weeks away from my own Island Spirit 525 being ready, so instead of sitting around waiting, we head to Phuket and jump aboard Island Spirit 525 Hull 4 for an amazing sailing adventure.
In this video, I give you a full tour of the boat so you can see what this new 525 is all about while we wait on my own Hull 5. Then my new crew and I leave the dock, hoist the sails, and head out into the beautiful waters around Phuket.
Our destination is the incredible overwater village of Koh Panyi, a truly unique place built almost entirely on stilts over the water. It’s one of the coolest spots in Thailand, and getting there by catamaran makes it even better.
This was a great chance to get a feel for the Island Spirit 525 before mine is finally finished.
