Welcome back to Sailing Clueless Crew! ⛵️
We haven’t moved onto the boat… but we have handed over everything we own to a removal company and waved it off towards Greece. No pressure. 😅

⏳ Wait two more weeks before we fly out to finally meet our 42ft catamaran
Right now, we’re in that strange in-between stage — technically homeless, slightly nervous, very excited, and hoping we remembered to keep a kettle out.
Trying to fit a full house into a limited number of boxes for life on a 42ft catamaran has been equal parts emotional, chaotic, and hilarious. Turns out “we might need that one day” doesn’t work so well when you’re moving onto a boat.
We fly out in two weeks to meet the boat and officially begin our sailing adventure — but for now, this is the calm (and clutter-free) before the storm.

Midlife sailing adventure | Retired couple living on a catamaran | Full-time liveaboard sailing We’re John & Sha, a retired couple in our mid-50s preparing to move aboard our catamaran this April. After retiring from full-time careers, we’re transitioning to full-time liveaboard sailing and documenting the entire journey. Right now, we’re sailing the Ionian in Greece. Stunning anchorages, pretty fishing villages and gusty winds are all on the agenda here. In the near future we will head off to Albania and Montenegro. From catamaran living and liveaboard life to sailing adventures, slow travel, and going where the wind takes us — this is our next chapter.
