Greek Island Sailing paradise: Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos.
We left Syvota and sailed through the Ionian Sea to Meganisi, then on to Palamos for what should have been a quiet stop — but the night turned wild with strong wind, swell, and a very uncomfortable anchorage.
From there we moved on to Kalamos and Kastos, chasing better shelter and calmer water, before heading back to Meganisi to dodge the south-east blow. This was classic Greece sailing: stunning islands, changing weather, and constant decisions about where to anchor next.
