We anchored in perfect weather on the island of Ithaca, then made a quick escape to Syvota to hide away from the incoming weather and enjoy a few peaceful days on the pontoon in Greece. But that changed when we had to tackle the joker valve on the toilet and get it fixed.

Midlife sailing adventure | Retired couple living on a catamaran | Full-time liveaboard sailing We’re John & Sha, a retired couple in our mid-50s preparing to move aboard our catamaran this April. After retiring from full-time careers, we’re transitioning to full-time liveaboard sailing and documenting the entire journey. Right now, we’re sailing the Ionian in Greece.
