Matt and Lisa snorkel Sand Key Lighthouse before sunset. They noticed that the coral reef is mostly dead. They compare the coral reef yesterdays SCUBA dive 30 miles away. And explain why sand key lighthouse has declined over the last few years. Many environmental factors cause coral decline globally , but here in Key West we have a local factor putting extra pressure on the reef… The cruise ship industry!
Then the crew of the sailing vessel by Felicia, dock the boat in Key West harbor for the weekend, and install scuba diving tank racks to the back of the sailboat, with the help of our friends Andres and Jake.
