SCUBA DIVING TRAINING IN THE POOL.

Matt helps Lisa practice her PADI scuba skills at the local swimming pool. Matt is a Padi SCUBA Instructor and Lisa is a Newly certified Padi Open Water Diver. After our pool training session, the crew of Sailing Bye Felicia sits down and watches the video, so we can explain what is happening, and for Lisa to share what it was like to learn the various skills necessary to become a SCUBA diver.

We are sharing our experiences in the hope that it will help people who are considering becoming a certified diver, to TAKE THE PLUNGE! We would ESPECIALLY like to encourage WOMEN scuba divers! We have already talked about special gear for women SCUBA divers in Episodes 10 and Episode 11.

The Pool SCUBA training session includes regulator recovery, mask clearing, buoyancy control (fin pivot and Buddha), and Buoyancy Compensator (Vest) removal and Re-don. Stay tune as Matt shows a trick on how to remove and put back on your B.C.

Then…

After a month of boat repairs, and paint, Matt and Lisa work feverishly in the boatyard to get the newly copper coat bottom painted Sailing Vessel Bye Felicia ready to be dropped into the ocean. Then they get ready for friends to arrive for the de-naming and renaming boat ceremony. Watch as they hold traditions with Champagne, speeches, and… virgins??
