Four years ago we moved from England to California not knowing a thing about sailing. In September 2019 we sailed our 36 foot boat under the Golden Gate Bridge and turned left, leaving the San Francisco Bay behind but taking our cosy home with us. For us, this is the journey of a lifetime. We intend to visit some of the world's most beautiful and unspoiled cruising grounds. We'd like to share our trials and tribulations with you here, where we hope to bring you an authentic snapshot of our new life afloat!

In this episode we outstay our welcome at Isla San Esteban in Mexico’s Northern Sea of Cortez, and an urgent exit is required as breaking swell begins to enter the unprotected anchorage! We set sail for nearby island Isla Tiburon in search of better shelter, and finally depart on our overnight passage to the mainland!
