Four years ago we moved from England to California not knowing a thing about sailing. In September 2019 we sailed our 36 foot boat under the Golden Gate Bridge and turned left, leaving the San Francisco Bay behind but taking our cosy home with us. For us, this is the journey of a lifetime. We intend to visit some of the world's most beautiful and unspoiled cruising grounds. We'd like to share our trials and tribulations with you here, where we hope to bring you an authentic snapshot of our new life afloat!

This episode joins Bohemia on her maiden voyage of the Caribbean… just around the corner in into Shelter Bay marina. Ha ha. Best to start small and keep things manageable we find. We have a little celebration with our wonderful linehandlers and with our friends and co-canal-crossers Colin and Julian aboard SV Boundless, before setting sail into the Caribbean to see what all the fuss is about!
