Four years ago we moved from England to California not knowing a thing about sailing. In September 2019 we sailed our 36 foot boat under the Golden Gate Bridge and turned left, leaving the San Francisco Bay behind but taking our cosy home with us. For us, this is the journey of a lifetime. We intend to visit some of the world's most beautiful and unspoiled cruising grounds. We'd like to share our trials and tribulations with you here, where we hope to bring you an authentic snapshot of our new life afloat!

This action-packed episode sees Bohemia’s crew up-anchor from the pretty – but private – Islas Secas Resort on Panama’s Pacific Coast, making a beeline for Isla Brincanco in the Coiba National Park. We then visited the small community of Bahia Honda and were greeted by a stream of smiling locals arriving on their hand-made dug out wooden kayaks. Exploring the town and feeling a warm welcome from the local people living in this remote and isolated community was a real treat for us!
