Lagoon 42 Upgrades & Lagoon Factory Visit
In this episode, we leave Bluefish on the hard in Marina di Ragusa for a planned round of upgrades before the season begins — new anchor chain, a new windlass, thru-hulls replaced, and brand-new rudders.
While the work gets underway, we travel as a family to Bordeaux for Lagoon Days, visit the Lagoon factory, and see how these catamarans are built. Filming inside the factory wasn’t allowed, but it was an incredible chance to understand more about where Bluefish came from and to step onboard the Lagoon range from 38 feet up to 83 feet.
We also spend time exploring Bordeaux, visit the old submarine base now transformed into an art space, stop by Riot Skateshop, check out guitars at Starmusic, and then continue on to Venice — a place that had been on our must-visit list for a long time.
Back in Sicily, Bluefish is ready, the weather window arrives, and it’s time to say goodbye to Marina di Ragusa before sailing east toward Greece.
