We left the boat behind and headed into Panama City for one of those weeks cruisers don’t always show on camera.
From submitting paperwork for our long-stay visa to renewing the kids’ passports at the U.S. Embassy, this trip was all about handling real-life logistics — with a few adventures mixed in.
While in the city, we reunited with family, explored the historic streets of Casco Viejo, visited the Panama Canal Museum, and escaped the crowds with a wildlife-filled trip to Lake Gatun. After errands and city life, we made our way back to Shelter Bay Marina — ready for our next chapter back on the water.
This is the behind-the-scenes side of full-time sailing life — the pauses between passages that make the adventure possible.
⚓ What’s next: taking our guests on their first taste of cruising life in San Blas.
Thanks for being part of our journey.
