After weeks in the San Blas Islands, we slow things down and close a chapter that meant more to us than we expected. From quiet mornings at the Swimming Pool anchorage to one last visit to BBQ Island with the kids, this episode is about saying goodbye, reflecting on the journey, and preparing for what comes next.
Before moving on, there’s work to be done — preparing the boat, changing engine oil, and getting ready to sail. We depart San Blas, say goodbye to friends who became family, and make our way toward Chichime and eventually Portobelo. Along the way we trim sails, reflect during long passages, navigate a challenging anchorage, and even release a few fish back into the sea.
