Surprise week. I can’t believe how much we did in one week! Episode 13
In this episode we spend a day figuring out how to use the wing foil-boards. It's not as easy as it looks! We then decorate for Christmas on the boat. The next morning is Malia's 17th Birthday. We surprise her with an easel and paint set. We then take her to a remote island where she spends the morning painting alone. We come back and head to the grocery store where we stock up on fresh produce.
The following day Matt from Dos Equis takes the boys spearfishing for the day and we tell Malia we need to go into Staniel Cay to pick up a package from the airport. When we get there she is surprised to find the package is her best friend Capri!
We come back to the boat and get Capri settled then head to the Thunderball Grotto and Pig Beach. The boys come back from spearfishing having caught some fish!
The next morning we load up to head south. We anchor for the night and find the engine doesn't work the following morning which happens to be Thanksgiving Day.
We take a hike to a cave and spend the evening having a Thanksgiving dinner. The next day we sail south to David Copperfield's Island where we dive on the Musician Mermaid. We spend some time in another cave and check out the beach.
We sail to Lee Stocking Island where we check out the abandoned lab.
The boys and I head out spear-fishing and catch 5 lobster for dinner!
It was the best week ever!

We spent 15 years working multiple jobs, living BELOW our means, saving every penny we could and investing in real-estate. Well the year of Covid hit and we thought, what the hell let's freaking go, kids and all! The first thing Steve said when he walked onto our boat "It smells like freedom!" We completed our first year of sailing, sold our sailboat Banana Pancakes, in hopes of purchasing a newer one. We didn't find the right boat so we headed back to Idaho. It's been 2 years since then and we are once again ready to go, this time for at least 5 years. We are currently boat shopping and plan on setting sail soon for Seson 2 of Banana Pancakes.
