Exploring the Berry Islands, Bahamas Episode 6
We made it to the Berry Islands and took a much needed nap. We spent the day cleaning the boat and finding a lot of boat repairs needed. We explored the island on bikes finding a beach, a great spot for lunch and some abandoned buildings.
On our way out we realized some issues while fueling up our boat.

We spent 15 years working multiple jobs, living BELOW our means, saving every penny we could and investing in real-estate. Well the year of Covid hit and we thought, what the hell let's freaking go, kids and all! The first thing Steve said when he walked onto our boat "It smells like freedom!" We completed our first year of sailing, sold our sailboat Banana Pancakes, in hopes of purchasing a newer one. We didn't find the right boat so we headed back to Idaho. It's been 2 years since then and we are once again ready to go, this time for at least 5 years. We are currently boat shopping and plan on setting sail soon for Seson 2 of Banana Pancakes.
