Day 2 of our epic voyage from Gibraltar to Sicily (non-stop with no engine, only sail) takes a turn for the worse. The weather continues to build and our wind steering can’t keep our sailboat on course. The seas begin breaking into the cockpit and over the deck. We make a decision that will affect the rest of our Mediterranean adventures!
If we tough it out, we will get to Sicily and be able to explore Greece. If we seek safe harbor, we will never make it that far in the spring and we won’t be able to see the Eastern Mediterranean by boat!
Well, one thing leads to another and choices have consequences; but the adventure never stops!
