We made it to Gibraltar! After a very long and very calm 5 day passage, we made it to Gibraltar from Almerimar, Spain and now it is time to explore. Herby makes new lazy jacks, and the two of them hike the Mediterranean Steps!
Herby and Maddie also discuss possible route options to sail across the Atlantic Ocean this season. They look at the options available to them as they might be turned away from their next ports due to COVID and the lockdowns imposed by the countries along the way. If they can’t stop in Madeira or Cape Verde, then they will be forced to cross the Atlantic without waiting for Hurricane Season to end!
