Maddie reviews all the ways that we have changed our boat, Wisdom, to better suit the current stage of our lives. When we were younger and cruising without pets or children, we could endure a bit of burden as the temperatures soared. As we have aged and our family has grown to include two macaws, a dog, and a human baby, so has our need for creature comforts. Adding a powerful generator makes this possible by supplying the power we need to maintain a level of comfort in the cabin during the heat of the summer.
After spending some time in Annapolis, the crew set sail for Herrington Harbor North, a gorgeous marina in Deale, where they stay longer than expected as they ride out the heat wave while plugged into shore power.
