Docking in tight harbours is never stress-free… but in this episode, it goes properly wrong — twice 😅
We arrive in beautiful Tayvallich with plans for a simple stopover, but things quickly unravel as our docking attempts don’t quite go to plan. After a couple of less-than-graceful moments (and a few lessons learned), we decide it’s time to rethink and ride out the approaching gales somewhere safer.
What follows is a wild night at anchor — strong winds, restless sleep, and a real reminder of how quickly conditions can turn out here. It’s all part of life afloat, and not every day goes smoothly… but that’s what makes it an adventure.
