We laughed when we watched the “Doomsday Preppers” series about survivalists preparing for natural disasters and economic collapse. Then came the Covid 19 / Coronavirus pandemic and suddenly those prepper families didn’t seem so crazy, and we wondered what WE would do if there was to be a second lockdown and we find ourselves stuck at sea or at anchor with no access to land.
In this video we describe how we use solar energy and and inverter to provide power to cook and keep our fridge and freezer going. We take you on one of our big shopping trips and show how we pack it all into our boat. We even try our hand at fishing.. with little success :/
While hanging out with Maddie and Herbie from Rigging Doctor, we practise some art / craft / haircutting skills and Herbie even teaches us how to make yoghurt at sea. Check out their YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/riggingdoctor
