Here in Bocas del Toro, days turned into beach days, surf sessions, and time with friends… and somewhere in the middle of it all, Stryker entered a local surf contest… and won.
But this life isn’t just sunsets and surf.
Living off-grid on our catamaran Motherlode means eventually, reality catches up. The boat needs work. Systems need attention. And big decisions are ahead.
So now we’re sitting down, taking a hard look at what’s next…the yard, the projects, and where this journey takes us from here.

Come join us while we navigate through an unconventional lifestyle, raising our 5 kids at sea, living aboard our 50’ Bavaria sailboat. House, jobs, creature comforts, we gave it all up and threw caution to the wind. It's sink or swim as we deal with the challenges of traveling abroad. Hoping to cross over to the pacific from Central America this winter, we’re settling into new work routine’s and lifestyle in the hot Caribbean.
