We have lived aboard our boat throughout its entire refit, starting back in June 2015. There have been days where camping in a tent would have been a big upgrade, but we felt being inside the mess would be a huge motivator to getting work done.
As areas get completed, the boat feel a little nicer and a little more livable. Although once your ‘mostly clean, livable’ boat gets thrown into chaos as more projects start, living in the mess seems almost unbearable.

After sailing her to the Arctic, we sold her in 2020 to begin our newest project of building a 42 ft catamaran.
