I'm so happy to tell you that we're 5/6ths of the way through our interior painting journey!!

This week we spray the salon, which makes A HUGE difference to the feel of the interior of our catamaran. Some changes were made to our plans and we still have to save one more section for later, but if it causes us to not bump into wet paint as we work, we're all for it!

Another round of 5 coats was sprayed on and we're thrilled with the difference it has made! There was a little bit of extra work put on our plate though, as a storm passed through the night we painted and blew some of our protective plastic onto the wet paint! Hopefully it can be buffed out, otherwise it will have to be re-done with the next section.

With most of the interior sprayed, it's time to nail down the color for our accent walls on bulkheads 5 & 6. We want a nice neutral color that will go well with the white oak, and help it to feel a lot more cozy inside when we're done. Getting a sample jar from The Hope Depot, I brush on a few spots here and there, but it will be a little while before we take on all of these surfaces.

Let us know what you think of the color, or what your choice would be if this was your boat!

Much love,
Jessica, Matt & Georgie
