2 People, 2 ⛵ Builds, 2 Vastly Different Situations (MJ Sailing Ep 279)

We’ve undertaken 2 boat builds in the past 8 years, and they could not be further apart.

In this week’s episode, we talk about our two boat builds, and how completely different they are.

Our first build of the Trisalu 37 was done in Indiantown Florida beginning in 2015, and was quite the learning experience. We tackled a huge amount of work and learned a ton of new skills, but does any of that transfer over?

As we build the catamaran now, we find our days glassing and fairing instead of woodworking and scrubbing out old tanks.

Ranging from topics like ‘Decision for build’; ‘Living Quarters’; ‘Materials’; and ‘Timeline’, we spell out as well as show how vastly different our lives are between these two boats.

Sit down, grab your favorite beverage, and enjoy!
