Our first stop in the stunning Baja Mexico cruising grounds is the breathtaking Isla San Francisco, where we drop anchor in warm, turquoise water that is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. This liveaboard paradise is full of surprises—we encounter everything from massive mega-yachts and unexpected submarines to helicopter landings! However, the peace is interrupted by the return of our persistent sea chest issue, forcing more urgent DIY boat maintenance even in this secluded anchorage.
