THE VOYAGE DOWN MEXICO'S BAJA BEGINS! 🇲🇽 (and a puffer fish incident! 🐡)
The big journey has officially begun! This week, we leave the dock near Loreto and finally start our two-week passage down the stunning Baja Peninsula, making our way toward the Mexican mainland and Puerto Vallarta.
The Sea of Cortez decided to give us an unforgettable send-off. We found ourselves surrounded by a breathtaking super pod of dolphins that stretched as far as the eye could see, playing right on the bow of Noeta. It’s moments like these that remind us why we chose the liveaboard life.
After navigating into a picture-perfect, turquoise anchorage to drop the hook, Pat decides to throw a line out to see if he can catch us some fresh dinner. He hooks into something heavy... but instead of a prize dorado or yellowtail, he reels up a very angry, completely inflated puffer fish!
