SPLASH DAY ALARM! 🚨 Overheat Warning on the Hydraulic System & a Costumed Check-In!
The wait is finally over—it’s Splash Day for Noeta!
After weeks on the hard at the shipyard in La Cruz, our 57ft Nordhavn is finally floating where she belongs. But as every boat owner knows, as soon as you put a boat back in the water, she likes to test your nerves!
As we hoist our newly re-galvanized anchor chain, our hydraulic system throws us a curveball with a high-temperature overheat warning. We take you right into the pilot house to monitor the system, troubleshoot the hydraulic temp, and manage the load to get the boat safely out of the sling.
Once the anchor is up, we set a course across Banderas Bay to Paradise Village Marina. To celebrate a successful yard period and our arrival at one of our favorite spots, Pat carries on his hilarious annual tradition—dressing up in full costume for our marina check-in!
