READY TO SPLASH our NORDHAVN AFTER 15 DAYS! 🎨 Bottom Paint, PropSpeed & The Bulbous Bow Smiley Face!
The finish line is finally in sight! After weeks of hard work on the hard in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, we are tackling the final sprint of shipyard projects to get Noeta completely prepped and ready for the water.
In this episode, we take you through the ultimate transformation as our 57ft Nordhavn gets her shine back:
The Paint Job: Applying the full epoxy barrier coat followed by two solid coats of fresh black bottom paint.
Running Gear Protection: Coating the prop and running gear with PropSpeed to keep her performing efficiently.
Corrosion Control: Mounting brand-new zinc anodes all around the hull.
Shipyard Tradition: Painting our signature happy face back onto the bulbous bow!
Packing & Paperwork: Clearing out of the yard, loading all our gear (and a very skeptical Gilligan) back on board, and checking out with the Port Captain.
With the bottom painted, the systems prepped, and the paperwork signed, all that’s left is to put her back where she belongs.
