Is there anything better than a hidden cove in the Sea of Cortez? We’re pulling out of Marina Puerto Escondido for a short cruise over to the stunning Honeymoon Cove in Baja, Mexico. This episode is all about the cruiser community! We are buddy boating with our friends on Kariwa and a few other Nordhavns, proving that the liveaboard life is always better with friends.
But it wouldn't be trawler life without a little drama. We ran into some unexpected windlass troubleshooting that sent us researching! Watch as Pat dives into the marine mechanics to get our ground tackle back in order so we can enjoy this paradise. Once the anchor was finally set, we hit the trails for some epic island hiking, took in the turquoise views, and gathered to celebrate a special birthday at sea...with a sad loss of yet another drone :(
