What happens when you have a medical emergency days away from a hospital? A few months ago while out exploring the Sea of Cortez, we faced every liveaboard's nightmare: Pat needed minor surgery right in the cockpit of Noeta!
While Pat recovered completely fine, the experience was a massive wake-up call that our onboard medical kit—and our remote medical knowledge—simply wasn't up to par for ocean cruising.
