After a nice time at the coast of Andalusia, I say “goodbye” to the Mediterranean. I set course to Gibraltar and dock in the marina La Linea near the famous rock of Gibraltar, which is a personal highlight for me. I take the cable car up to the top of the rock, where the monkeys are, and then I get around Gibraltar by bicycle and film the impressive scenery.
I continue sailing towards the Rio Guadiana. I drive through the area, which the orcas are currently reported to be, but can avoid an encounter. After a rough crossing, I tie down my lines in Ayamonte at the Rio Guadiana.
