My comeback!
My friend Olli from the YouTube channel Plan B Hamburg is accompanying me on this first sailing cruise. We set off from Kemer and sail to Greece. Rhodes is our first destination, where we also do customs clearance. Then we sail via Nisiros and Leros to Samos. In addition to beautiful days of sailing, we also have the opportunity to get to know the ship a little, but also to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Greece.

Ep 37: First Sailing on Comeback
In this thrilling episode of our journey with M Jambo, Martin and Ollie embark on their first sail with the newly refurbished Comeback. Setting off for an overnight cruise to the beautiful Greek island of Leros, they face various challenges while discovering the true potential of the boat.First Steps and Challenges
The episode begins with Martin and Ollie setting out from their starting point, facing a series of logistical challenges including pump-out station visits and necessary paperworks at the marina office. With everything sorted, they begin their journey, expecting clear skies but encountering stronger winds than anticipated.
The Sailing Experience
Despite the strong winds and low speeds in the beginning, they persevere with good humor. Martin shares his anticipation for the pasta dinner he’s preparing on board while sailing towards Leros, with Ollie eagerly joining in, looking forward to both the food and a great sailing experience.

The wind eventually subsides as they approach Leros, allowing for a peaceful docking with a successful anchor placement. After completing the necessary formalities such as customs clearance and police station visit, they raise a well-deserved cheers with a Ming beer before exploring the historic Old Town center of Leros.

Their journey concludes with a challenging docking maneuver in a 20-knot wind, requiring strategic use of the B Thruster and bow anchor. Successfully berthing at the pier with their dinghy remaining aboard, they admire the stunning views of Leros’ town.
