EP 32: Chesapeake Bay von Norfolk bis Baltimore

Wir segeln die Chesapeake Bay hinauf und erleben die Schönheit dieses Segelreviers mit vielen verschlafenen Creeks und Ankerplätzen. Über Hampton, Deltaville und Reedville fahren wir nach St. Michaels. Die Stadt ist sehr sehenswert und ein beliebtes Ziel nicht nur für Segler. Danach segeln wir nach Annapolis. Unterwegs erwischt uns ein Gewitter. Wir schauen uns Annapolis und auch die dortige United States Naval Academy an. Zum Schluss geht’s hinauf bis Baltimore, von wo aus wir mit dem Bus nach Washington fahren, um uns die Parade zum Independence Day anzuschauen.

Im Sommer 2021 hat das große Segelabenteuer begonnen. Im Detail kann nicht geplant werden, wohin und wie weit es mit der Jambo gehen wird, da die Pandemie immer wieder Grenzen aufzeigt.
