BOAT LIFE 2020: No Sailing? Not Sure If We Still Have All Our Sailor Head🤪[Ep.33 Sagar Rani ]

[ Pour nos amis francophones, description française plus bas ] Well, oh well, we’re still enjoying our boat life 2020 in our bay in Phuket. Don’t get me wrong, but I think this isolation situation is mentally affecting us…We don’t want to spoil anything, you’ll figure it out in the video!

Everyday, we’re getting closer to the wet season. Usually, we can be sure we’ll receive some rain everyday or so. It’s quite useful, as our watermaker only make 12L per hour. Don’t worry, we’re not drinking rain water! Winds are getting stronger, and it’s everyday more humid and hotter.
We still can’t sail away… For now, we stay strong being optimistic about a futur that will allow us to cross the Indian Ocean this year. We’ll see! But it helps us keep our heads up.
So, except the fact we’re going crazy, that we still enjoy life, we tried to repair our dinghy that was leaking… Succes or not? Claire is pursuing her goal to make bread, but we have no yeast… She also ( despite the fact that Jo hates it) started sprouting some seeds…. That’s a funny part!

Eh bien, eh bien, nous apprécions toujours la vie en bateau dans notre baie à Phuket. Ne vous méprenez pas, mais je pense que cette situation d’isolement nous affecte mentalement … vous comprendrez tout dans la vidéo!

Chaque jour, la saison des pluies approche de plus en plus. Nous pouvons être sûrs que la pluie nous asperge tous les jours. C’est très utile, car notre dessalinisateur ne fait que 12L par heure. Ne vous inquiétez pas, nous ne buvons pas cette eau! Avec le changement de saison, nous subissons des températures de plus en plus chaudes et humides. Bien sûr, nous ne sommes pas en train de nous plaindre, on a quand même la belle vie à vivre confinés sur notre bateau!

Nous ne pouvons toujours pas partir naviguer et changer de pays… Pour l’instant, nous restons forts en étant optimistes quant à un futur qui nous permettra de traverser l’océan Indien cette année. Nous verrons! Mais ça nous aide à garder la tête haute.

Donc, à part le fait qu’on devienne fou, qu’on profite encore de la vie, on a essayé de réparer notre annexe qui fuit … Succès ou pas? Claire poursuit son objectif de faire du pain, avec le défi que nous n’avons pas de levure … Elle a(malgré le fait que Jo déteste ça) aussi commencé à faire germer des graines… Germination en bateau!… Une bon moment de rigolade ce passage, vous verrez.

Nous sommes tellement choyés que vous ayez embarqué dans notre aventure sur Sagar Rani! On espère que vous avez apprécié votre moment avec nous, merci à vous!
