We finally leave Blankenberg after staying for quite a while waiting for a good weather window to head north.
The North Sea isn’t that kind and we are unable to sail, so we motor north. We make our way to the southern end of the Standing Mast Route and the lock which will lead us into the canal system.
It’s beautiful and we end up at a stunning location, an island all our selves in a picturesque spot.
We find a lost soul.
