78. We Can SLEEP Again! Converting the V-Berth Back to a Bed | Learning the Lines - DIY Sailing

Awhile back we decided we wanted to use the v-berth solely as storage, however that soon proved to be a mistake. Although sleeping on the main salon pull-out settee worked for a while, It was very inconvenient to not have a dedicated sleeping area on the boat and when we redid the cushions, the sleeping situation became very uncomfortable.

Left with the options to either redo the salon cushions, or make progress towards converting back the v-berth from storage, we chose the latter.

With Randi working full time for a while now, I’m back to working full time on boat projects. I’m going to be doing tons of work on this boat in the coming months, so stay tuned for a lot of DIY boat work!
