66. DIY Boat Countertop (Phase 2) | Learning the Lines – DIY Sailing

This is the second phase of our solid surface countertop install. We’re doing this project slowly phase by phase because we’ve got so many other projects going on as well. It’s finally to the point where it’s functional so that we can go in the water, liveaboard, and use our galley. It’s still not that pretty yet, but it works.

We go in the water in less than a month, and we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us including installing the new motor, reinstalling the steering pedestal, and installing our solar arch. We’ll see if we can get it all done in time.

Learning the Lines is a channel about us, an average couple in our 20’s, with big dreams to be sailing the world by the time we’re in our 30’s. We’re not afraid to jump into anything, put in the work, and learn as we go. For this reason our channel is very DIY focused, with the goal to show anyone watching that a lot is possible if you’re not afraid to make some mistakes along the way.
