Welcome back to the San Blas Islands, Panama! 🇵🇦⛵🌴
We're continuing our sailing adventure through one of the most beautiful island chains in the Caribbean, exploring the crystal-clear waters, remote tropical islands and incredible underwater world of Guna Yala!
This week, we're island hopping through the San Blas Islands, exploring more of Chichimé before heading off to find our next anchorage beside a mangrove island, where we whip up some epic homemade pizzas aboard Escapade! 🍕
We dive a shipwreck dating back to the 1950s, explore the outer reef, swim in ridiculously clear water at a stunning sandbar and visit another little slice of paradise in the Lemon Cays.
But there's more to these islands than white sand beaches and turquoise water. We also spend some time learning about the fascinating history, culture and traditions of the indigenous Guna people, who have called this region home for generations. And along the way, we discover that life in paradise isn't always quite as idyllic as it looks.
